i just updated to new firmware 1.2.0 and ADSR has gone flaky.
Volume knob not working properly and a lot of other dials are just not working at all.
Hope there is a fix for and its not a permanent hardware issue with sub.
proceed with caution
1.2.0 firmware update buggy sub 37
Re: 1.2.0 firmware update buggy sub 37
Disconnect the Sub 37 from the computer.
Power cycle the Sub 37.
Try an 'Init Preset' on the Sub 37.
Anything?
Otherwise, maybe check the settings on the Setup Page in the Editor - Local control, MIDI echo, etc.

usb driver maybe, especially in windows.
Re: 1.2.0 firmware update buggy sub 37
very unlikely there's anything physically wrong with the synth. You should probably try a "pot calibration".
Here are the sysex files you'll need:
http://www.moogconnect.net/downloads/su ... ration.zip
(you will also need software to send sysex to your Sub 37; like Bome's SendSX for Windows or Sysex Librarian for Mac.
Sub 37 pot calibration procedure
Pot cal low:
turn every front-panel pot to zero; don’t forget Fine Tune pot… make sure Mod wheel at minimum. Manually hold pitch wheel at minimum (bend all the way down) while sending the pot cal low sysex. Keep holding pitch wheel down until you see MIDI LED blink red, indicating the calibration measurement is complete, then you can release the pitch wheel.
Pot cal high:
turn every front-panel pot to maximum, mod wheel all the way up, hold pitch wheel all the way up while sending the pot cal high sysex. Keep holding the pitch wheel up until red MIDI LED blinks to indicate completion, then you can let go of the pitch wheel.
Pot cal center: there are 11 pots on the panel which must be centered before running the pot cal center calibration. It doesn’t matter where the other pots are positioned during this calibration. Pitch wheel must be centered but it automatically centers itself.
Here are the pots to put at 12:00 before sending the pot cal center sysex command:
- fine tune
- mod 1: pitch amt, filter amt, mod 1 amt
- mod 2: pitch amt, filter amt, mod 2 amt
- Osc 2 Freq
- Beat Freq
- Filter EG Amt
- Filter KB Amt
If this fixes the pitch wheel; OK. If not, contact [email protected] and/or let me know and we can make sure to take care of it under warranty.
Cheers,
Amos
