Are there plans to include an oscillator drift control in the new firmware, like in the sub 37 ?

An oscillator drift control would be awesome for the Sub Phatty!

Beta testing the firmware Amos is speaking about, count me in!
Amos, is it in any way possible to implement an oscillator drift control? That would surely do right by the Sub Phatty because it is the father of all Sub 37's

Yes it's totally possible to de-stabilize the Sub Phatty oscillator tuning. I reckon it would be that way already, except the chorus of voices asking for that feature hadn't reached a crescendo yet when the Sub Phatty was first in development. It's actually fairly simple to add, now. :)

Yes, i second that! Please bring more of the deliciousness Moog has bestowed upon the Sub37 back to the worthy ancestor: the Sub Phatty!
And now for the obvious question @Amos: what's the ETA on the new firmware?

will polychaining to Voyager and Minitaur be possible ?

Has anyone heard if The Sub Phatty will be able to polychain with Voyager and also Minitaur. One would hope an update to the Sub Phatty could make this possible :D C'mon Amos you can do it !!!

Yes Amos, you have been stringing us along for a very very long time, perhaps you should offer all Sub Phatty owners a free upgrade to Sub 37 so we have something that works properly (does it work properly now???). I've had a sub functional ( Sub Skinny perhaps?) Sub Phatty for some time, no support (tried hard, multiple emails starting 11 months ago with one useless email back with links to the 2013 firmware saying In needed to update to that when I was on the latest beta already, an apology for sending the wrong links and then no more contact. Eventually I gave up) so have been waiting for the promised update in the hope it would clear the issues I've had, allow me to use the software editor etc.

http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.ph ... 45#p134302 - "Hi, I think we'll have some progress very soon. There are multiple layers to the problem, each of which must be solved." by Amos » Sat Sep 06, 2014 12:53 am - Yep thats 2014 folks!!!

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=23028&hilit=sub+phatty+update#p140476 - 13 months ago... "Yes there will be a Sub Phatty update. we were just talking about that in yesterday's engineering meeting. The details are not firm enough to announce (meaning the timing, and exactly what will be updated) but at least a small update is guaranteed before too long. :)" by Amos » Thu Mar 12, 2015 1:12 am

The latest promise in this thread and still nothing... I was so excited to get my first Moog and from about day 3 of owning it that feeling was gone :-(

Just an honest estimate of time or an honest admission it's never going to happen, please...

What makes your sub phatty sub-functional? What issues are you experiencing?

I've been wondering the exact same thing.

I don't need to see another thread or post about the same thing from "gertie" to keep my blood pressure from getting any higher.

Tbh, as an Elektron owner I've seen loads of this same thing online over the past 18 months - nothing majorly wrong with the machines, but people just want more, more, more. Anyway, mega update to the Analog Rytm landed today ... which just goes to show that good things come to those who wait. Not sure what it is about premium electronic instruments that gets people freaking out like this.
