Moog should make a tap tempo LFO. I am not sure if this is possible, but it seems like it should be. Any Moogerfooger owner is using them because of their superior analog qualities. It seems a shame that inferior digital processors should be the only way to get tap tempo capability.
Is there such thing as a tap tempo sequencer?
Such a tool would be great for any of the Moogerfoogers: CV in on the filter cutoff, carrier in on the ring mod, sweep in on the phaser. The only problem would be controling the speed of the delay - probably not possible.
Tap tempo LFO
I guess I'll answer my own question.
There is a product by Ploytec called a 34one. This is a tap tempo MIDI clock. This together with a Fat Controller - or another sequencer - might do the trick.
Would have been nice if the murf had a cv output. This was the main reason why I did not grab one immediately when they came out. It's been a while, and I think I might just go pick one up.
