The other night I connect a Nord Rack 2x to the ext In on the little phatty stage II and It work wonders!!! But when I draw some midi notes on my DAW (ableton) the phatty don't play them. Am I missing something? I tried with the advance menu on the phatty just causing a midi feedback loop and have to shut down both the phatty and the nord.
Does anyone have tried this????
I know it can play the notes that I draw in the DAW because it is responding to the data but don't produce any sound.

I tried the midi merge, the din / out / both out etc and nothing...

DId you choose the audio channel that your moog is connected too? (in the external instrument plugin)

btw, which option can I choose from Midi Merge Out Midi merge In, Din/ Usb?
and Why do I hear a very distorted sound of my nord through the phatty? I try lowering the cut off and resonance and don't change the sound that much, don't know why =S

I do that and solve it but now I get a midi feedback loop and have to restart the phatty again,
what configuration should I use : midi merge out din/ usb? ?? don't understand very well this concepts.
