MIDI module: what can you do with it?

Post by abreis » Wed Jun 08, 2011 3:59 pm

Hey everyone. Can someone tell me what you can do with the MIDI option for the Moog Guitar? Will it output notes you play? Can it receive notes and play them as if it were a remote-controlled synth/guitar? Or is it limited to syncing the LFO?

I've gone through the Quick Start and the User's Manual that are available online but they say nothing about this.

Also, the search function of this forum doesn't let me search for 'MIDI', says it's too common of a word. Duh.

The option adds a 13-pin output, which is compatible with various guitar-to-MIDI converters,
see Roland GR-55 or other GR series for examples.

Thanks cliffman. I was confusing it with the 5-pin plug that one sees in the pictures, thought that was the MIDI.
