Yeah man, let the Phatty be the curvaceous little beast that it is...

Don't genetically modify it.

Free range Phatty!

Wooden sides, please! They look much better than...rubber or plastic? Look how gorgeous the Voyager is by comparison. There shouldn't be such a stark difference between the two instruments. Even the Moogerfoogers have wood. I only wish the Tribute Version was still available.

I personally am happy with the Phatty, as is, but I would love to see the results of your idea. I have my Phatty at a slight angle away from me, so the angle of the panel is perfect. I'm looking right down on it.

I would LOVE to do this to my phatty. I hate the back plate and the rubber sides, would move to house it in a voayager-esque case, would make it much better performance instrument because it would fit in a waaaaay smaller case

As far as appearance goes, I really dig my stage LP just the way it is. I also like the angle that the control panel is at. If I were to upgrade her I would go 1st with the CV outs, then get all the pots and encoders tightened up, then if cash was still around a keyboard upgrade, stiffer springs at least, new keys would probably be a bit much but could really improve the feel.

I have a LP tribute and wouldn't dream of smooshing it. But I gotta say I would like to see what it would look like.
