Future Plans For An Editor/Librarian?

Post by dlearyus » Sun Mar 18, 2007 12:39 am

Excellent product. I suspect its going to be a big seller and around for a long time. Perhaps as staple product line the TE/SE deserves one as is for the Voyager? Is one even possible with a fully analogue synth?

A fully analog synth, no. However, the LP is a digital/analog hybrid. Since it can save patches, an editor/librarian is very possible. All it's controls have midi values, and I'm sure there is a way to send sysex data to change global parameters through midi as well.

I'm not sure how you would get a Synthedit VST to send midi out inside of Cubase et al. I know in Cubase your midi track goes into the VST and can't go out to a midi out from there. Maybe there's some trick I don't know. You can certainly edit your LP directly from the Synthedit program.
