Glide between presets on Sub Phatty

Post by AjS » Wed Apr 09, 2014 1:18 am

Hi, I´m using a SP for live and there´s something I can´t control about the glide, so I need some help.

I want NO glide at all when I press a key for the first time in a preset (when I´m changing presets).
for example:

If I´m using a preset, for example in a verse, and i change to another one for the chorus, if the new presets has a glide position different from zero, there would be a glide between the last note of the previous preset and the first note of the new preset. Which is right, yeah. BUT, the problem here is that it sounds bad compared to the rest of the band, till the pitch of the note is correct. Do you get it?

Is that possible not to happend?

thanks a lot.

P.D. Sorry if my english isn´t perfect, I speak spanish. 8)

I haven't tried this, but a possible approach by duplicating the preset:

instead of: preset A -> preset B

try: preset A -> preset B1 (no glide, first note) -> preset B2 (glide, second note)

Thanks for the reply.
I think it would work, but is far from being practical. I must use the doble of bank spaces, which is a big problem, ´couse in a live concert, i´m using lots of sounds and also could be kind of difficult to apply. I should press two preset buttons every time i´m changing sounds.
