Minitaur side screws?

Post by Pedro » Mon Dec 10, 2012 7:40 am

Hi, have just received my Minitaur. What a superb sound! :D

I'd like to make some panels to protect the sides. I've taken out 2 of the side screws, but none of the longer ones i've tried fit the thread.

Does anyone know the type of screw type/diamension I need. Im scared to cut a new thread for rear of loosing the warrenty.

Thanks

Why don't you measure them? They might be metric or not.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Sequence:
Prodigy * minimoog '79 * Voyager * MF102 * MF103 * MF104z * MP201 * Taurus 3 * Minitaur * Sub Phatty * MF105 * Minimoog 2017+ MUSE * One 16

Thanks Till, I had the screw measured at a Nut and bolt centre and they said it was 4 gauge, but had an unusual course thread. I assume Moog didn't have this size made specially, so they must exist somewhere?

Anyone know? I would estimate they need to be 20mm long.

Thanks
