Well it seems that there's still some bugs in the Taurus 3 OS (I haven't had time to check myself though), no likelihood of any further features being added (unlike Minitaur) and even less likelihood of an editor arriving.
So is that it? Will the Taurus 3 get any more attention, or are Moog too busy selling Minitaurs and gold-plated Voyagers?

What further features do you want?
I tell you what, I haven't bothered to upgrade from V1.x maybe 1.11 or something like that. Whatever the first upgrade was. I have learned from yahoo and windows updates that I wish I never accepted.

Well a couple guys on this board have rolled back, so something's up - it would be nice if the 'final' OS didn't have any bugs. The problem with earlier OSes for me is that the MIDI notes easily got stuck, so rolling back isn't an option for me. Of course if you don't use MIDI you won't notice or care.
I am not hungry for new features, but seeing as Minitaur keeps getting them I was wondering if the Taurus could too - e.g. keyboard tracking which may be a software feature. Of course if it's in the Minitaur hardware then it can't be had - but the fact that they managed to change it from 100% to 200% in a update (if memory serves) suggests that it is a software thing.
And an editor was definitely mentioned and from what others have done here independently could be adapted from the Minitaur editor.

It does kind of make one think twice about investing in an expensive system when the consumer version gets more attention. Hopefully there will still be some software development for this synth.

I don't think that the problem is Moog's lack of concern for their product development. I think it may just be a staffing issue. I think they need to get some more people in there to help Amos out, or to stop rushing products to market so quickly so they aren't spreading him to thin forcing him to develop all this software and fix old software ending up with a bottleneck of issues that take too much time to resolve.
Or put less emphasis on hardware operating systems and get back to basics (which I know isn't going to happen).
