question for Y'all

the cv outputs send out 1V/octave.. .but the inputs track slightly less.. so when i hook up the phattys to each other i need to adjust tuning on the slave... (no attenuators yet)..

with this fix. am i tuned across all the octaves or just within a certain range untill the offset catches up?

does this make sense?

Adjusting the tuning will just make it out of tune. I believe there is a trim pot inside the phatty to adjust the output voltage, if you call moog I'm sure they would help you adjust it so that your phatties track together, without an attenuator, if you don't plan on using it with other cv gear.

Question - if all you are doing is controlling a second LP with the first, and you want them to be in tune, why use CV? You can achieve this with a MIDI cable.
Gear: Moog LP, Gibson LP, lots of FX

A. because i don't have too..

B. i can modulate the signals between the phattys

C. I can use other parameters for control.

midi is allright. but i find it better when playing with others (who might want to play the LP) if i can just pull a 1/4 inch and not worry about master settings

i know about the trim pot.. but my outputs are fine.. its the input that by design does not track at 1/oct

I was suggesting that if you don't use your Phatty with other v/oct gear, you could calibrate it to match the CV in of Phatty #2, so that they are in tune across the whole range of the keyboard.
