send firmware sx code error 1

My LP says

SEND FIRMWARE SX
CODE ERROR 1

Idk what caused this but i can't operate menus and the only sound is a constant descending pitch.

im not sure what error 1 means but did this happen while updating your phatty?

if so use midi ox with a low buffer setting,if i remember correctley 256 for sending and receiving should do the trick!

it happened in the midlle of playing it...

Hmm, that's not good. Perhaps it received a particularly shocking MIDI message from your host... did you have MIDI connected at the time you were playing? If so, was it USB or traditional MIDI cables? (or both?)

feel free to email me @ moogmusic.com and we can go into more detail. You should be able to send it firmware via MIDI and get back up and running. Also, you might try pressing MASTER and see if it boots past that message.
