Using the LP as a MIDI controller in MIDI OX

Post by Kenneth » Wed Apr 29, 2009 12:03 pm

Hey all, I have recently been trying to figure out a program called MIDI OX. It's kind of an overall MIDI utility, and I'm trying to use my Little Phatty Stage II as a MIDI controller over a USB connection. MIDI OX is recognizing my LP, and when I look under MIDI devices it lists "Little Phatty SE" as both a MIDI input device and a MIDI output device. Now, I have many questions about what to do here, but in a nutshell, I can't get anything to make sound. I want to either use the Little Phatty to control the soundbank that comes with MIDI OX or to be able to play my Little Phatty's sounds through MIDI OX. Can't figure out either. Can someone please help? Thank you!

MIDI OX is only for file storage...it is not a softsynth or DAW. It moves MIDI files to and from the LP, Voyager, or whatnot. It is also used for updating the software on your LP, Voyager, or whatnot.

Patches go over USB fine. Software updates don't. :)
