John Barry's "007" theme Tomita-style, w/ Phatty

NOT the James Bond theme; the "007" theme is much cooler.

Also employed: the Arturia CS-80, the Gforce Mtron, Synful Orchestra, some real trumpet....and a complement of 'foogers.

The first song in the player.

I [heart] Tomita-style electronica renditions of classical pieces, even semi-classical pieces. I started this by first doing a straight translation of the piece, then added the extra elements....

Nice job! Very ELP-like, IMHO.

Very nice! I agree... It has a kind of ELP showstopper kind of sound. All you need is a stadium full of fans.

Yeah, the whole album has a kind of epic feel. It should be done in the next couple weeks. I hadn't thought of the ELP connection, but, of course, it's there. I've toyed with the idea of playing orchestral pieces like this live, and tried to rehearse this piece awhile ago, but it just introduces a lot of elements that can easily break down in the live environment. I curtailed my ambitions regarding this quite a bit when we started playing live a few months ago.
