LP II Value Knob

Post by T7 » Thu Dec 04, 2008 8:03 pm

I just got my new LP II today. The first thing I notice when I put my hands on its controls is the very large amount of side to side play in the 'Value' knob. Is this normal or a defect? I don't recall this on any other LP I've played.

Mine has a hint of wiggle...I'd think that maybe yours could be defective if it's more than a millimeter or two of movement. I'd talk to Amos, if it's that bad.

Sorry to hear that. :( There is no other advice that I can give you except to contact Amos. On the plus side, he may know how you can fix this issue without sending the whole unit back. Good luck!

...I wonder if it was a return? I just noticed it's an LP II in an LP I box. :?

Id guess it was an upgrade, but that is definately something id check into if I paid full price on a brand new synth for.

I realize it's a button. But it's not a bobble head. I compared it to an LP at GC tonight. Mine's knackered. Not to mention the questionable box it came in. Back it goes. :?

Man Id get a refund and order from Novamusik.com.

I know that ive been plugging the crap out of there store but go there and see what they wqill do for you. THey give you a DVD Tshirt, EP2 pedal and a fooger training dvd just for getting a FOoger and their price is regular price.

THey had an open box stage II for less than a grand.

My LP Stage II came in a box that simply said Stage Edition, and had a picture of the Stage I on it. But the synth is Stage II...black back, USB, etc.

Maybe they just didn't design a new box.
What does this button do?

LP Stage II, Dead Prodigy, Juno 60, MF-101 & 102, CP-251, guitars, bass, banjo, and the almighty glockenspiel/melodica combo
