Slim Phatty - Can it do Modulation Weirdness (Buchla?)

Hi everyone,

I am just starting to get into the weird world of recorded "modular" music. (Morton Subotnick, etc...)

I also love the sounds coming from my Slim Phatty, but my playing tends to be pitch oriented relative to the keyboard. Does anyone know of any techniques whereas I could wrestle a bit more of an unpredictable approach to editing the sound? Turn it into more of a musical noise generator? De-tuning the oscillators is one of the first things I do...

Odd scaling? Weird LFO Destinations? I'm obviously just getting into synthesis, any direction or advice would be appreciated!

Get a CP-251 and hook it to the Slim Phatty's CV inputs, if you add an MF102 you will get there, or at least very close

Hello the Slim phatty itself has a sample&hold generator, or noise.
It's in the master settings, mod sources.
Great for wierd and musicaly modulations. Great fun with this instrument.
