Sub 37 controlling Slim Phatty Osc Octaves

I have the MIDI OUT of the Sub 37 to the MIDI IN of the Slim Phatty. Havin' a blast!!!

I'm aware that the Sub 37 has far more features and controls than the Slim Phatty. So not all Sub37 knobs can map to a parameter on the Slim Phatty. Then I noticed something odd. I moved the Osc 1 or the Osc 2 Octave setting. Walked Osc 1 it through from 16' 8' 4' 2' on the Sub 37. The Slim Phatty followed with 16' 8' 2' 16' respectively. Same with Osc 2.

Any ideas? Have you tried this?

Is there a listing of what could/should map between synths?
