I recently purchased a Korg sq-1 sequencer and am eager to give it a try on my Sub Phatty. However, I have read a few concerning topics online about cv voltage perhaps being too much for some Moog synths. The sq-1 allows you to choose a voltage setting of anywhere from 1v-8v, and I've heard that most Moog synths run about 5v, and that too much voltage cv input mighty do damage to your synth. The sq-1 does allow midi capability so I suppose that is one work around.
Was just curious if anyone has had an issue before. Would hate for a $100 machine fry my lovely Moog synth.
