to be honest it doesn't cause me enough grief to warrant the time needed to go through those steps - but at least it's a way to achieve it.Amos wrote:There is one way that definitely makes this work in Ableton, but it's a bit tedious... on the other hand, it might be the correct/only way, if there's not a way to make it automatic. Re: Sub 37 pre-release Editor 0.9.25 + firmware version 1.1.
Just tried to install the 3.3 Midi driver in Windows 10 x64. But Windows always prefers the standart microsoft driver.
When I try to select it manually it don´t work (marked with a yellow sign n the device manager).
Any idea, how to install the Moog Midi driver (in order to intall latest firmware 1.2, in order to use the VST)?
Thanks in advance

if you double-click the driver in device manager, is there any error text associated with the yellow sign?
If you haven't installed the beta firmware / are still using firmware v1.1.0 or so, then this is why it's not using the new driver.
New driver is looking for new firmware.

Hiho Dears,
it seems i was a bit misinformed when buying the sub 37, assuming there is still an editor available (even if i like to teak with the knobs in many of my workflows, i hardly use plug out editors for my synth zoo - even some in beta state ß)
is it still possible to get a copy of the pre-release of the Editor (Mac)? If beta testing is wanted - i'm open to help a bit too.
If not, are there any updates regarding a public release (even as a beta or alpha).
many, many (many) thanks in advance,
Niels.
