Hi jtryer,

Here are two ways.

Use the Seq Note's Velocity to Modulate Filter Cutoff:

Set your FILTER's EG AMT knob greater than 12 o'clock.

Set your FILTER EG's SUSTAIN knob to a non-zero value.

Set FILTER EG's VEL AMT (by lighting the KNOB SHIFT button and turning the FILTER EG's SUSTAIN knob) to a non-zero value.

Adjust all of the above knobs, as well as the FILTER CUTOFF knob, to get the filter range you want from lowest to highest velocity.

Now... when you record a sequence, the velocity of each note will determine the Filter Cutoff.
(And the Velocity of each step in a SEQ can be edited in the Step Editor.)

Use the SEQ MOD Feature:

Go into the EDIT PRESET Mode by holding the PRESET button for a second.

Go to the SEQUENCER >> Sub Menu.

Set the MOD DST parameter to F CUTOFF (2nd from last in the list).

Set the SEQ MOD AMT to a non-zero value.

Now... when you record a sequence, the position of the MOD WHEEL is recorded for each step.
(And the SEQ MOD value of each step in a SEQ can be edited in the Step Editor.)

Remember: In this special case, the MOD WHEEL is a "bi-polar" controller, meaning that halfway up = 0%, all the way up = +100%, and all the way down = -100%. So, to keep yourself sane, start with just using the MOD WHEEL from halfway up to all the way up.

Adjust all of the above knobs, as well as the FILTER CUTOFF knob, to get the filter range you want from lowest to highest MOD WHEEL position.
