Extra sequence notes

Post by luczak » Tue Jun 02, 2015 11:23 am

Good afternoon all.
Is there a way of adding extra notes whilst a sequence is running.
For instance if I have a sequence of 20 notes running and whilst it is running I want to add notes 21 and 22 is that possible.

I have checked the new manual but I can't find it I think I might be missing something.
Thanks

I don't know what synthesizer you are using, but in the firmware 1.1.0 demo videos Amos did for the Sub 37, you can see how he is modifying a running sequence in various ways. This is also explained in the step sequencer section of the 1.1 manual.

Thanks for speedy reply
Yes it is a sub 37 weirdly I can't find how to do it in the step sequence page of the manual?
I spent an hour last night trying various options but couldn't figure it out.
Strange all the complex stuff I manage ok where am I going wrong?

This is explained in the Step Edit Mode section on page 18-19 of the Sub 37 1.1 manual. You can do things like setting the first/last step (changing the length of the sequence) and editing steps while the sequence is playing.
