Adjusting volume curve when using expression pedal

Post by Buttonjaw » Thu Apr 16, 2015 11:23 pm

Hey all-

I recently plugged my Moog EP-3 expression pedal into my Sub37 and immediately noticed a sharp volume swing when increasing the volume (like super touchy brakes for those car enthusiasts ;). Is there a volume curve parameter that can adjust the 'smoothness' of the volume pedal?

A somewhat pricey solution is the CP-251, which would let you seriously dial in the behavior you want.

But you'd soon find many other uses for it as well. (I have two, I could easily find ways to use more;-)

The CP-251 is a gateway to madness, but the good kind of madness.

A bit overkill to use to control theatre on a £35 expression pedal :-)
Maybe there should be a menu choice where you can select the taper of the pedal by company and model like on the Nord Electro 4?
