Sub 37 froze on Firmware update

Post by jake.lubell » Fri Oct 10, 2014 1:56 pm

Hello,

I was trying to update my firmware to 1.3 since I was having trouble with getting my Sub37 to send and receive MIDI from logic 9 via the DIN ports and the USB port. In attempt to update though, the Sub 37 froze up on the 3rd step of the process... now all of the lights on the synth are lit and the arpeggiator light is steadily blinking. I've already notified Moog to see if I need to send it back in for repairs.

I just wanted to see if anyone else may have had a similar problem. Pretty bummed out since I've only had this thing for a day...

I'm in the same boat as you. I run into a problem with the third step also.

Seems as if the synth doesn't recognize the 3rd sysex in some way.

Maybe this thread can help you out:
