Sub 37 USB Issue

Post by Toom » Sun Aug 24, 2014 1:27 pm

Wondering if any other Sub 37 owner out there has this issue. When my Sub 37 is plugged in using USB for Midi, if I play around with the WAVE pot from OSC 1, the sound cuts out. It has to be in the 12 o'clock position to be audible. Really weird stuff. It doesn't have to be sequencing or doing anything.

To test, just plug using USB and boot up whatever software you have. Playing around and see if the WAVE pot from OSC 1 cuts out your sound.

I'm using Logic Pro and I'm getting this issue every time.

Works fine here with various programs (not Logic, haven't tried that yet). Look in the manual for the CC for Osc Waveform and check to see if Logic is sending that. I have found that Logic sends stuff even if it is not playing anything...

Hi Toom,

Do you have a MIDI Monitoring app? On a Mac I use MIDI Monitor (it's free):
http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/

I know some PC folk who use MIDI-OX:
http://www.midiox.com

It would be useful to see if any Continuous Controller messages are being sent by Logic (as mmarsh100 suggested) or anywhere else in the computer.
