Sub 37 Mod Bus

Post by Lymtronics » Sun Jan 26, 2014 11:14 pm

I'm wondering if there will be a way to set a modulation amount to each destination in each of the mod sections. Something like cycling through each destination and turning the amount knob. The active destination could have a steady led while ones not currently selected, but actively modulating a parameter could blink. I know nothing else in the modern moog range functions in this way, but I'm wondering if the more advanced, upgradeable software would be capable of such a thing. Maybe it won't matter much with two lfos available...

The wishful thinking was that I could click through to a destination (say wave amount), dial in a mod amount, move to a second destination (VCA level, for instance), and dial in a separate amount for it. I know you can already modulate pitch, filter, and a single selectable destination within a single LFO, just wondering if the software would allow multiple modulation amounts on the selectable one. I have a virus b that behaves this way.

It would definitely provide much more possibilities but I'm not sure the "easy knobbing leads to quick fun" factor would be preserved.

ohhh ok I gotcha.... yeah I think the only way you could do that is by creating identical presets with different mod destinations
