This thing you're talking about has been a part of the character of the waveshaping circuit since the Voyager. It's the same there also. It's not a defect or something unusual to one or another instrument.

I discovered this fact myself after getting my Voyager and wanting to take note of the location of the exact settings for the purest waveforms on my particular unit. I found the transition "bump" curious but not disturbing. In fact, without an oscilloscope, I would never have even known about it.

I actually like hearing that little "bump" for one reason: it makes it very easy to know by ear when you are dialing in a perfect sawtooth... perfect saw is right before the "bump".
