Hi, I have just ordered my upgrade and look forward to getting my lp running again.
I say running because I have managed to render my side cheeks useless after trying to rid them of disgusting nicotine and tar inflicted by the previous owner! I tried to remove the paint from the cheeks using paint remover which went well, it was only when the primer was revealed that it got messy and now they're ruined!
So I have ordered new cheeks, and because of shipping costs I went ahead and ordered the usb upgrade and a replacement key for one which has remained yellow even after cleaning, it baffles me why someone would inflict this on a thing of such beauty.
My question is, has anyone here carried out any of the above upgrades and how was it?
