Syncing Slim Phatty to Cubase

Hi there
First post so excuse any stupidity...

Im trying to sync my slim phatty LFO or Arp to Cubase but not having any luck.
Ive put the LFO sync to MIDI and Arp Sync to MIDI but it doesnt sync.
Ive tried with both the USB and MIDI cables and no joy.
Ive also downloaded the VST editor but it doesnt seem to make a difference if I change the settings there either.

Ive changed a couple of MIDI thru settings in Cubase but not helping much.
Are there any settings in Cubase's MIDI setup I need to change or is there something on the SP that Im missing?

In Cubase: Project Synchronization Setup>MIDI Clock Destinations -- select LP or SP as a MIDI Clock Destination, that should do it

Ive tried that but still no joy.
Is there a setting on the Slim Phatty that Im missing?
