I got an Etherwave Kit for my birthday about a month ago, did all the soldering and stuff and got a volume issue. I checked the board and found that - just like in that post- L7 was broken (clearly.).
I sent it back through RMA to the shop (thomann) and finally got another one today. The package and the components looked a bit "not new" but whatever, I was super excited to finally get to try the beast. So I soldered the front panel components without checking the board itself and when I had to take it out of its pink bubble package... some components were bent and a condensator was shattered in two halves ...!

I am torn between the visceral need to try the theremin and my disapointment with the quality control of moog... Anyone has some advice on this subject ?
