Mac OS X VoyageRename app

Post by Qwave » Wed Nov 17, 2004 2:11 pm

Hi,

I just uploaded the version 1.0.0 of my Voyager Rename application for the Mac OS X. It is named "VoyageRename" and the download page is here:

http://iNet-CAD.de/VoyageRename.html

This little application needs a folder named like the app's name to be dragged into the boot volumes "Application Support" folder that is nested inside the main level folder called "Library". The folder is inside the .sit compressed download together with a little ReadMe.txt file

This software is postcardware: please send me a postcard if you like the little app. The adress is in the "About..." menu and in the included ReadMe.txt file.

Feel free to comment errors and bugs.

seems to re-trigger mbox, so if i have my monitor setting on line or instrument and open the VoyagerRename program, it triggers the mbox as if it using it for the application and sets the monitor back to mic selection. weird, but nonetheless no real problems, works great.

danke!

So my app is changing selected in ports of your Digisign Mbox?
Weired !!!

I have no clue what causes this.
And no way to check it until I get a Mbox here.

Sorry !

it is changing the ports, but not in a unusuall way, if i were monitoring the Voyager through MBOX and opened ProToolsLe, then the MBOX would set itself back to mic input and stereo, sort of a default when opening a app associated w/ digidesign coreaudio. the weird part is the Voyager ReName app has not been selected as an application under digidesign coreaudio selection list. i'll try to include pic.

in order for these programs in the list to trigger the mbox to default, they must be selected in the list. while the ReName application is not in the list, it still retriggers mbox to default. something i am williing to deal with being that it really is not too big of deal, and i like the ReName app. :)
