Can anyone help me please?

Post by Gedya » Tue Nov 16, 2004 8:20 am

Could anyone suggest a way to make my own library of factory sounds. I have the sounds on my pc but can only seem to upload them exactly as they are. I want to take all the Wakeman sounds and a selection of others and make my custom built panel of sounds, but don't know how.
I have midi ox on my pc but opther than that I'm a bit naive when it comes to computers...I'm still a purist analogue buff.

Thanks in anticipation

Sound like a job for the Voyager Editor/Librarian software, available here. You can download it for free to check it out, but you'll need to purchase a registration from Moog to unlock the full program. The demo version doesn't permit file transfers to/from the Voyager, but it does show you what the program can do.

The Editor/Librarian has the four Voyager factory banks built into the program, and they can freely be mixed and matched according to your needs.

Hope this helps.

Greg

PS - I'm an analog 'purist' myself, but with digital leanings ;-)
