Voyager has 100% media implementation - what does it mean ??

Post by leksz » Mon Nov 08, 2004 6:25 pm

" Back in January, at the Los Angeles NAMM show, the first new Moog synthesizer since the early 1980s was announced in the shape of the MiniMoog Voyager. While the new release closely resembles the original MiniMoog, it's been brought totally up to date. Bob Moog himself is really impressed by the work that's gone into the synthesizer by the Big Briar company, who produce Moog-designed gear. "The Voyager does a lot more than the original," says Bob proudly. "In the first place, it has 100 per cent media implementation. Secondly, it has many new functions: there are additional capabilities for modulation, for filtering, for envelope generating... literally dozens of new functions are available on the front panel."

"In the first place, it has 100 per cent media implementation." ?????

I am translating it into another language so I really need a precise word on this one. Thank you for your help.

Perhaps it should've been a complete MIDI implementation.

think this is a type error or translation error. should have read "100% midi implementation." there is no media card slot though that would have been quite useful!
