Using the Voyager with an Analog Sequencer?

Is an analog sequencer able to trigger the Voyager with the CV/Gate in's provided on the back panel? I can't seem to get any sound out of it. Am I missing something?

Did you switch the gate button to EXT.?

It is the red switch just below the VCA envelope section.
