How wide is the XL?

My XL should be here in a week or so, and like any expecting parent, I'm trying to prepare for its arrival. Can someone measure the exact width of theirs? The specs pages on the various retailer sites list it anywhere from 40.25" to 46". Sweetwaters site said 40.25, and they s the to be the most reliable, but I'm hoping someone can actually measure theirs.

41.25" to about 41.5", depends on how you measure - matches what's on the spec page 95 of the manual
