I'm planning my retirement which includes completion of my wish list for a studio.
I just purchased the mini voyager bundle which includes:
Minimoog Voyager
CP-251
VX-351
I also purchased:
Dark Time
Dark Energy II
But first things first.
For now, I'm curious as to why with the VX-351 they require you to install the Output Adapter and why this wouldn't come installed from Moog.
I want to take everything one step at a time so the DT and DE won't be addressed until I have become very familiar with the Voyager first.
Thanks,
EDIT: I'm sorry. I just discovered why they leave it up to you. Not required: The RME doesn't require it be installed. Somehow I missed that the first time around.
Please disregard.

Congratulations on your retirement and your new Voyager and goodies.
re: powering the CP-251 off the VX-351 via internal power jumper.
I tried this approach and like many others experienced hum issues. The solution is to power the CP-251 off it's own PS.
