Voyager keyboard fault.

Post by Our.man.flint » Wed Apr 30, 2014 6:01 pm

I have a voyager in from a regular client of mine that has an issue, only aftertouch works from the internal keyboard. All other front panel midi out works fine apart from the touchscreen, aftertouch out works fine but there is no note info being sent out and no sounds are played unless you use an external midi keyboard. Ive done some digging around, it has a fatar type keyboard, 3.3 os. So, also, the touchscreen, it makes a difference to patches when you use it, not massively dynamic but there's a difference, but its not sending midi info out. Everything is turned on in the local control window, I've tried various keyboard modes, loaded initial parameters, any advice please?

Hi,
I guess there's a problem with the keyboard processor board or the keyboard connection.
Please contact Moogmusic.

Yes, ive contacted tech support here in the uk and am waiting on info re a scanner pcb as a spare. I cant see any serial info coming off this pcb if i look at it with a scope, no activity, just 5v lines and gnd. Is it possible to put fresh firmware onto this? I have a setup I use to burn atmel microcontrollers, and isp header setup. Thanks, simon, www.flinn-tone.com

It's not possible to burn a SiLab processor with an Atmel burner.
If you need the software file send me an email (rudi at moogmusic dot de).
