MW mod buss

I have an RME and I am wondering about the MW buss. Is it only possible to make use of this by sending mod wheel midi messages or is there a way to switch it so that it operates like the other buss?

You can do it through Pot Mapping:

Set the Pot Map SOURCE to an unused knob function (try Noise Level, but make sure Noise is turned OFF in the Mixer)

Set the DESTINATION to Modulation Wheel

Set DIRECTION to Normal and AMOUNT to 100%

Now the Noise knob acts like the Mod Wheel - when you turn up the Noise you will raise the Mod Wheel bus modulation level.
