note/gate retriggers when releasing a key too quickly...

Post by namahshaman » Fri Aug 02, 2013 9:50 am

On certain patches if I play notes a bit too quickly or with too much intensity, there seems to be some sort of retriggering going on when certain keys are released rapidly, almost like the bounce of the key retriggers the gate or something. Is this a problem with my keyboard or my shoddy keyboarding skills? Or, is it some setting I can alter in the menu? I've already tried switching between multi-trigger and single-trigger, to no avail.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, 'foggers.

It could be the envelope of the patch. I use the envelopes to create different timbres by how I strike and release the key. Does this do it on all patches or only a few?

Try adjusting the attack and decay on those patches and see if it still does it. It is probably just an effect of the ADSR settings.
