Not speaking on their behalf (I'm not a Moog employee), but it is the weekend afterall. Maybe call 'em on Monday and find out?

Maybe the move held them up for a few days?

I called to get the status of my Voyager, and the person I spoke with said he was looking at mine after a couple others. I asked him what they were in for and he said they were having the upgrades done. He then mentioned that soon I could do my own version, but I missed the exact timing.

He said he'll be in touch to give me an update in the next day or so and I'll remember to ask. Get back to you when I do.

Must say, very nice folks over there.

I contacted the factory today and learned that the OS 3.0 field upgrade is available and shipping now.

I asked about ordering it through my local music store. I was told that it's probably best to order the upgrade direct from the factory, as music stores likely won't be stocking this (they could get it, but it would be a special order).

Price is $225 as advertised.

I just checked the site and it's now says the field upgrade is available as of December 1, 2005? :?: :?: :?:

I just ordered it from the factory and they said it would ship out to me today or tomorrow. I received an email yesterday after I asked the question about the website saying 10/1 and they told me to call in and order it since the site had not been updated. Maybe they just switced it to 12/1 on the website to cut down on calls and emails about it saying 10/1.

She also told me it ships with a cd with pictures of how to install it and a manual so it should be pretty easy with this stuff supplied. I hope! I can play them, but I can't build them

I lucked out myself as I called in and placed my order 10 minutes before noticing the availability date changed to 12/1. I called back to confirm this and was told mine would also be shipping within the next day or so and the reasoning for the date change is due to their limited stock on hand.

That sucks at least a couple inches of mercury.

I'm not about to ship baby anywhere.

Now I dig why they keep the wraps on everything until the last minute.

Huh? I thought you wanted to buy the field upgrade as mentioned in your original post.

If you move quickly, you could probably receive the upgrade within a week. You save money (over the factory install), you don't have to ship your Vger anywhere, and you get the 'latest and greatest' OS and additional capabilities. Isn't that what you want?

Does anyone know how and or if the editor will work with the upgrade? I guess I wont be able to switch banks with the editor.

It's time for a editor upgrade for sure.

It's a bit confusing and counter intuitive to move banks around to and from the Voyager.

I wish the Soundtower people would put some time into listening to Voyager owners and make things a bit more easy to use.
