Maybe they will leave it covered with a cloth...? To prevent anyone present from becoming suddenly sick ?

I can't imagine anyone outside of a museum or other historic institution wishing to purchase this for posterity. actually, i could see the non-musician broker/doctor/lawyer -type wanting to use it for bragging rights but definitely not the average musician. which is totally cool. if they have the cash and want to invest in this then more power to them. "one man's junk is another man's treasure" comes to mind.

but outside of those mentioned above, honestly...

...who would foolishly try to gig with this?

...who would foolishly store this in their home without a proper security system?

...who would dare play it for fear that it would quickly lose value?

If you gigged with it, I think you'd have to wear a gold tux at the very least! And maybe a gold grill?

Well, not every guitar made by Martin was designed to be gigged either

This is Martin guitar serial number 1,000,000

And it's over 9000 times more awesome than a gold-plated Voyager.
