4 Voice Module Idea

Post by Fanny » Fri Mar 04, 2005 6:44 pm

Hey

wot about a rackmount 4 voice expander that can receive
on 4 differant midi channels & play 4 differant patches w/ 4 outputs
no knobs just dump sounds in via sysex or a voyager/RME
obviously with an option to play 5 voice chords via the keyboard

then I could do switched on Fanny!
how about it ??? would that be crazy expensive to build?

that would be expensive to do with the same analog quality as the Voyager.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

The Voyager is expensive! The type of person who buys a Voyager obviously isn't shy of spending a bit of money. I think it is entirely do-able within a "reasonable" cost. I would certainly consider buying one. Maybe not a 4-voice, but a 2-voice expander. It would be expensive, but it be considerably cheaper than buying a few RMEs.
