Where the heck is the download support on the website???

Post by Sunsinger » Mon Feb 21, 2005 8:59 pm

:(
I have been looking on the moog website for two hours to find where the heck I can get OS 2.5 so I can buy the software editor for my mac. The web page is very poorly organized and is not kept up to date on a regular basis, unless they have a new product to sell us. The new OS for the Voyager should by all rights be located in the download for the Editor Software demo. Please someone tell me where 2.5 is.
And Moog, please give your website the attention and organization it deserves.

You need to go here.

Threw me for a loop the first time I tried to find it, too.

Perhaps they should place all downloads on one page. Makes it easier to grab what your looking for. I remember earlier when using Safari on Mac, you couldn't even SEE the download section!

Seems to work okay with Firefox, though. Once you realize that you need to go to the product first, then select downloads, rather than accessing a "global" downloads section.

Probably would've done it differently myself, too. Also makes the forum hard to find from the main page (if you don't know it exists).

Thankyou Guys...

I found it ok with your supplied link...
This really is a very helpful community. Kudos to all.
Zons supplied patches are really great... The Wakeman stuff is perfect.
Keep Developing Zon!!!

Thank you for the appreciation, Sunsinger :D

It was a lot of fun whipping up the sounds from Wakeman and others that have have inspired us through the years.

If enough people ask the wonderful people at Moog for more "Zon" sounds, then maybe they'll hire me for another bank.

What specific sounds would you like to have in your Voyager?

How about some Boards of Canada sounds? There is like 1 preset that ships with the Voyager that has a Boards of canada Feel to it. Think its number 76 or something. Sunshine Lead.
