Further to my plea for help

Post by Gedya » Wed Feb 16, 2005 11:20 am

I have just discovered that if a patch is out of tune and I move the 'pitch' wheel, it moves back into tune. But if i change patch and come back to it it is still out of tune until i hit the pitch wheel again. Clearly the problem is to do with the pitch wheel setting on certain patches. CAN ANYONE PLEASE ADVISE ME.
Thank you

Download the pdf that comes with the OS, there is a calibration procedure for the pitch wheel. Not hard to do. This will fix the problem.

Pitchwheel Calibration Procedure/ Attention MOOG TECH HELP

Post by Gedya » Thu Feb 17, 2005 7:42 am

Thanks my friend. I did that, if you are talking about the tweaking of the potentiometers under the wheel, but it does not seem to have rectified the problem. The display did show that it was not set at zero and after the adjustment it IS set at zero but the problem remains. I have to knock the pitch wheel slightly and the patch pitch will adopt the correct note, but only after the wheel has been moved. I have emailed MOOG also but have not yet had a response.

Thanks for your advice though. Clearly I had to do that anyway, but hadn't.
Cheers
