voyager update and preset load using a mac

Post by bosonob » Wed Dec 15, 2004 5:41 pm

powerbook G4 1Ghz OS X 10.3.6

Voyager came with OS 2.4 boot 2.3. I wish to upgrade to 2.5. I also want to scope out the other presets. I have USB to midi but have not used sysex or data midi before only simple midi device to device. Have only used Garageband and its very primitive on midi.

help,
stefan

download the demo version of moogs librarian. You can use it to update your os first. look under the voyager main menu for this fuction. you will not need garageband for this just have the moog hooked up to your midi interface. You can also use the demo in some limited fasion for preset transfer though i am unsure how much. I would highly recommend purchasing the software though. It is a very comprehensive librarian for thevoyager and allows you to access many menu parameters on one screen like pot mapping. you can also analyze the preset settings and get on with making up your own as well. It is really a good investment for the much larger one you have already made.
