Well, my first attempt to use the Rise with the Minitaur was not successful. I am still sure it was a setting or something I did but honestly I need to make some notes and and try again. I am fairly confident this will work and work well but I have to figure it out. Cross your fingers please!

Well thank you Roli for the quick response. Here is what I learned. The Rise USB A is for charging external devices like iPads iPhones etc. No data is transmitted over it so it to the USB B of the Minitaur sadly didn't work. I need a USB host like one of the connectivity products but I do have Korg Kronos. I know the Rise works with it and it will also host the Minitaur so for the time being that will be my set up. I hope to test it all out over the weekend.
