Is there a resolution for this? Current/beta firmware from the other forum thread. If I get presets, it shows disconnected in the preset list, then the message stays there superimposed over the preset list and presets won't load when I select them. Shows 'current firmware version as' 'sysex error'. Last thing I want to do is ignore the message and somehow overwrite frequently used patches by mistake.
If there's some secret sauce to work around this that everyone knows but me, I'd love to hear it.
Using VSTHost or stand-alone editor. Prefer the latter but need the former to audition patches.

Just put in the new new firmware and this issue is handled much better.
