Ableton does not show the Minitaur Plug in :-(

Hi guys, there's a new build of the Minitaur editor which I think will solve this "not visible in the DAW" problem.

Please try it, and report whether or not it works!

Also a note that we're working on the "hardware disconnected" problem, although I don't expect that this Editor build will fix that separate issue.

Hi Amos. Thanks for the update.
I had some improvement with this, but still problems.

Windows 8.1 64bits.
Live 9.0.5 32bits

Minitaur Editor(x86).dll - it´s shown at plugins in live (that´s an improvement ). However... when clicking the plugin, or drag it into my proyect, the loading wheel starts rolling, then the plugin doesn´t load and after some time live it´s complete freezed and i need to kill it (ctr+alt+sup).. So for me it shows up, but it doesn´t work.

Minitaur Editor(x64).dll - doesn´t show in my list, since my live is 32bits i suppose it´s ovious...

StandAlone - works ok as before side by side with live. I have to open the minitaur app first then live, so Ableton won´t take the minitaur driver for itself.. but is annoying to swiths applications in a live show everytime i need a new minitaur preset...

Any idea?. thanks.

My goal is to get the Minitaur editor working for everyone.

I think the best way to proceed with this plugin issue is for the Editor programmer and myself to work directly with a few people who are having this problem, since everyone's computer setup is slightly different.

Working like a charm with the latest 3.0.3.
Plugins shows up, loads ok now, and receives the presets ok, even when loading opening an ableton project, minitaur will automatically get the preset from the vst without any action. So no more issues for me with the 3.0.3

How are you bringing the audio in? On a separate audio track?

Try launching ableton as admin. Also try both the x64 and x86 dll... mmy live 9 is 32bit however and had no problems so far.

Ok i tried it in ableton 8 which was my old 32 bit seqeuncer. It appears in the list but i cant get it to work.

So i loaded it with jbridge and this does appear in ableton 9 64bit but it's glitchy... It seem to bang my cpu up to 130 178 for a simple filter twist. And whenever i use the mouse its glitching.

Normal 3.03 vst still non visible live 9 64 bit - win7

Okay, i tried it but no luck yet.

Tried to follow your guidelines Amos, changed the folder (renamed it) made a moog test folder. Scanned it, no show.

Win7 ableton 64bit, Minitaur editor 3.04.

Well that's a bummer. I am running Win7 Pro 64-bit, SP1... Live 9.0.6 64-bit... and I can see both Minitaur Editor(x64) and Minitaur Editor-VI(x64) in my Plug-ins folder now. With Minitaur Editor v3.0.3 I could not see the -VI version of the plugin, but it's there now, for me.

Are you seeing only one of the two plugins, or neither of them?
I assume you've tried chucking the new .dlls in your regular plug-in folder and re-scanning as well, yes?

Ok i updated the ableton software. No show yet.

I do get a message when scanning the minitaur editor vst's. It says can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing. reinstalling the program might solve this problem.

Ok so i reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)
