Recording Moogs
Hi, When recording a moog, what is your setup? Do you go DI into computer interface or mic an amp? If so which amp do you recommend?

Normally I record directly into a mixer channel. You can record directly into your audio interface too. Just make sure your levels are good. I wouldn't personally record an electronic instrument via amp/mic but some performers have done so with interesting results.

I have a Mackie Onyx 1220i which is also my audio interface (via Firewire to my Mac). I go directly into the board without a DI box and record using Reaper.
It's wonderfully clean and crisp!
I used to go through some hardware effect boxes (distortion, flanger, echo) prior to the mixer but lately I've been bypassing these boxes in favour of software effects.

You certainly don't need a 'DI box'.
A DI (direct injection) box converts a high-impedance, unbalanced signal, typically from a guitar/bass to a balanced low-impedance signal suitable for directly connecting to a mixing desk's mic preamp inputs via an XLR connector.
Any synth can connect directly to a mixer channel's 'line' input without any DI boxes or other extras, whether from the synth's 'line output' or directly from the panel of a modular (with attenuation on the channel if necessary).
