Minitaur w/ Foot Pedals

Post by shawnh565 » Sun Jan 24, 2016 4:17 pm

Can someone tell me if there is a right way to hook up Roland PK-5 foot pedals to the Minitaur to get the low bass sounds? I hooked them up using midi and get all the sounds but cannont get the attack and release needed to make the pedals sound good without bleeding over each note? Do I need to download the editor and do this "under the hood" or is there another way of doing this? Thanks

So, first off, a monophonic synth can't bleed over its notes, without delay or reverb.

I would start out with the volume envelope set up like this:

Attack = 0
Decay = 0
Sustain = 100%
Release = 0

You can add a bit more attack and release, but not much. Decay is not needed here.
