Help Please - Need Minimoog Rotary Switch!

Post by torinkrell » Wed Sep 16, 2015 8:53 pm

Hi! Does anyone have an extra original 6 position rotary switch for my Minimoog Model D? On my 1973 Minimoog the rotary waveform switch for the 3rd oscillator waveforms no longer clicks into its selected positions and I am concerned that it will fail completely. Any info on how to source a good used, NOS, or drop in compatible replacement is greatly appreciated. Perhaps someone can even share info on how they repaired the clicker on one of these switches. Thanks!

I can repair these switches... they do disassemble.
If you would like me to look at it for you I would gladly do so... where are you based..?

Cheers,
Tom

Thanks noddyspuncture for your kind offer! I am located in the New York City area. Is the part that clicks the rotary switch into each position easy to fix? Does the clicker clean the contacts or are they self cleaning without the clicker in place? I was hoping to simply acquire a few extra rotary switches and install them when my Minimoog also needs other service work.
